Loch Venachar is a place where time moves differently, where the water speaks, provides endless joy and where we and our guests remember what matters, returning to ourselves, to nature and to each other. We built these cabins so others could experience that very same thing.

"The cabins have everything you need and more. Lots of logs for a cosy fire in the wood burner, local produce in a thoughtful welcome basket, stunning views and plenty of adventure to be had. This is a really special place."

Hugh & Jemima
There is something for everyone to do. New experiences for all and favourite things to do
Born and brought up at West Dullater, the farm house next door to the cabins, Hugh has been roaming the hills his whole life. When his parents sold the house a decade ago they left Hugh a patch of woodland on the shores of the loch and the idea for the cabins was born.
Hugh and his wife Jemima teamed up with local architect Darran Crawford from Line Architecture, and under guidance from the Trossachs national park created the stunning cabins you see today. They try and spend as much time there as possible, walking, cycling and fishing but mainly sitting round the fire looking at the ever changing view.
Rest and reset,
we’ve considered everything.
