In this space, you can curl up on the sofa and hear the gentle crackling of the wood burner, watching the light shift across the hills. Designed for utter remoteness, Alder is a wholesome escape, a comfortable base for a small family, or a romantic adventure in the wild where the world melts away beyond your doorstep.

We have explored and enjoyed many corners of our Loch Venachar. Our favourite things to do range from wild adventures in the mountains and on the loch, to where to grab a delicious bite to eat nearby.
Order a few delicious meal packs to cook in your cabin. These made by our local deli, The Smiddy. We’ll pop these in your fridge, ready for you to put together and cook when you arrive. Jemima is a professional chef and has approved that these are utterly delicious.
