Book a few days off to relax and adventure in Scotland

Escape to the wild, to the quiet southern shore of Loch Venachar.

Unwind in nature, four lochside cabins sit right on the water’s edge. Paddle across the loch, wander along the forest tracks in the Trossachs and take to mountain trails. The adventure begins just a few steps from where you wake.

We are biased, so don’t take it from us...

We are going to miss this place! We stayed in Alder and it was beautiful. Swam in the Loch every day. Went up Ben A’An and loads of other stuff. The cabin itself is a marvel of a tiny home. Comfy bed, a surprising amount of storage and enough kit to make yourself dinner too. Can’t recommend this place enough - you won’t be disappointed!

We did great walks along the Loch, also fished in the nearby Lake of Monteith and I hiked back from there over the hills. We also came across a cute little goat farm selling lovely ice cream and coffees.
