Your Stay

Check-in is from 4.30pm on day of arrival.
Check-out is by 10.30am on day of departure.

Venachar Cabins provides accommodation for 4 people in each cabins. The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed this number unless agreed by the owner in writing. If it is found that more people than agreed are using the property this will be considered a breach of contract and the holidaymaker and their party will be asked to leave immediately without any refund.

All linen is provided.

Electricity & Hot water are included in the price.
Our water is from the burn and so is brown due to the peat. It is subject to regular obligatory water quality testing by the authorities and is totally safe to drink .

RESERVATIONS

The booking contract is between the client/hirer and Venachar Cabins Ltd

We require payment in full at the time of booking. Unless you have paid in full your booking is not confirmed.

All changes made are subject to a £20.00 administration fee per booking. Any difference in price will be charged in addition to the original booking. Please note that if the total price of the new reservation is lower than the original booking, no refund will be made. CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to make a cancellation for any Covid related reason then we will offer you a full refund. If you need to cancel your holiday for any other reason then we will offer a full refund if you cancel with over 2 months to go until the start of your holiday. If you cancel under two months before the start of your holiday then we are unable to offer a refund and you will be liable for the whole cost of the holiday, we therefore strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation protection. We will however attempt to re-let your cabin, and if successful we will make a full refund to you, less an administration charge of £50.

The Hirer agrees that, in the event of Cancellation, while all reasonable efforts will be made by the Lessor to re-let, the Hirer will be responsible for paying for the period of tenancy booked if a substitute cannot be found.

If for any reason beyond our control your cabin becomes unavailable for hire all monies paid will be fully refunded and the Hirers will have no further claim against the Lessors.

DOGS

Dogs are welcome though we do ask that they are house trained, kept under proper control and not allowed on the furniture or beds. They must not be left unattended in the property unless crated and unlikely to cause a noise disturbance. Please make sure all dog waste is collected and disposed of. Dog owners will be held responsible for any damage caused to the cabin or it’s contents by their dog and for any extra cleaning required.

FIREWORKS

Due to the close proximity of other cabins fireworks are not permitted.

LIABILITY

Venachar Cabins Ltd will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to guests’ personal property vehicles etc. whilst visiting Venachar Cabins.

NOISE

Please be considerate of your neighbours who are also on holiday! excessive noise or partying will not be tolerated and will result in ejection from the property.

CHILDREN

Guests must accept responsibility for the safety of their children at all times whilst visiting Venachar Cabins. All children (a person under 16 years of age) must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times. You must take particular care when children are around the fire bowls , and water.

TRAVEL COTS

We have a limited number of these that we can provide for your use, please request these at the time of booking to avoid disappointment. Linen for the cots is not provided.

KEYS

There will be a £30.00 charge should a guest lose or damage keys. Failure to return keys on departure could also incur the same charge.

CARE OF PROPERTY

Guests are asked to leave the property clean and tidy. You are legally bound to reimburse us for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs on demand (although we will not charge for the odd glass or plate). Accidents happen, we ask that any breakages or damage (accidental or otherwise) should be reported immediately. Failure to do this may result in you losing your breakage deposit. Any missing inventory from the property on your departure may also be charged for.

INTERNET ACCESS

Internet access is provided for guests’ use in all the cabins. You agree to reasonable and lawful usage of this service.

Due to the rural area broadband can be affected by weather if any damage occurs it may take a while for repairs to be done. No refunds or compensation will be offered or paid should there be no internet access.

WOOD BURNERS & FIRE BOWLS

We provide kindling and one basket of logs extra baskets cost £5 per bag.  Please could leave money for extra logs in your cabin when you leave, please be honest it took us a really long time to chop and stack all that wood! Wood for the fire bowls is stacked underneath your cabin, this is complimentary, if possible please use large misshapen logs for the fire bowls. The smaller ones are for the wood burners.

COMPLAINTS

Every endeavour is made to ensure your stay with us is memorable for all the right reasons. However, we do recognise that from time to time things do go wrong. In these circumstances it is the responsibility of the holiday maker to make any such problems known to the property owner or their representative immediately it becomes apparent thereby giving the property owner the opportunity to correct the situation. Unless this procedure is followed, no subsequent claim will be entertained.

The property owner will make every endeavour to rectify any identified problems as soon as is reasonably possible.

CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE OWNER

If for any reason we have to cancel your booking in advance due to circumstances beyond our control for example fire, flood, exceptional weather conditions, epidemics, destruction/damage to the property you will be refunded the full amount of the booking.
